The National Digital Ecosystem not only actively recruits young professionals, but also partners with universities so that students can gain practical skills and discuss questions with experts.

On March 13, Roman Lavrentiev, Uzum’s Chief Operating Officer, and Bakhrom Mirkasimov, Rector of Westminster International University in Tashkent, signed a memorandum of cooperation, which involves the development of joint educational programs, assistance in the employment of students, exchange of knowledge and experience, as well as cooperation in research and innovation projects.

Also, Uzum experts Alyona Seneva, Deputy Director for Human Resources Management, and Artem Melentyev, Uzum project manager and lecturer of the Project Manager course at the Uzum IT Academy, held a lecture for Amity University students. Uzum experts told how to make the first steps in the career, what skills are required for a project manager and what tasks such specialists solve in IT companies

We are building not only an ecosystem that millions of Uzbeks already use, but also a team that will support and develop Uzum’s digital services. — And, of course, this is a task we will have to solve together with the guys who are now studying at universities all over the country. Our goal is to help students understand how theoretical knowledge is applied in practice, introduce them to expert practitioners and share our experience.

We are delighted to partner with Uzum. CEO of Ecosystems Jasur Jumaev is our alumnus, which is a great pride for the university and an inspiration for every student. Today our students are undergoing internships and are already working in different teams of the ecosystem, so it is especially important for us to maintain a constant dialog and exchange of experience and expertise.
