Uzbekistan’s national digital ecosystem, Uzum, has secured $22 million in joint debt financing. The ecosystem’s partner in the transaction is one of Azerbaijan’s leading banks — Kapital Bank.
We are pleased to reach a new level of international cooperation and truly value the trust of our partners. Our fintech solutions are already widely adopted — over 1.5 million Uzbeks use the Visa card issued by Uzum Bank, and the Uzum Nasiya installment service is one of the largest in the country.
This financing will help us further expand our fintech products, accelerate the rollout of new technologies, and make our services even more accessible and convenient for users across the country.
