The national digital ecosystem Uzum, in partnership with the Uzbekistan Football Association (UFA), will support the preparation of the national team for the World Cup as well as the development of football across the country.
Uzum’s support will enable the Association to strengthen sports infrastructure, expand youth programs, and assist the national team in preparing for the FIFA World Cup. Prominent players of the national football team will take part in joint projects of the Association and the national digital ecosystem, inspiring young people by their example.
Today, under the umbrella of the UFA, 14 regional associations operate, more than 12,000 players train in children’s and youth teams, and the national team represents Uzbekistan on the international stage — from the Asian Cup to Olympic qualifiers and the FIFA World Cup.
Collaboration with Uzum is an important step in the development of football in our country. In the coming years, we will implement joint projects to support the national teams, as well as youth and women’s football.
For us, it is important not only to support sports but also to create conditions where talented children can grow, and current champions receive the resources for new victories. Football unites people, inspires teamwork, and gives confidence in one’s own strength. We are proud that together with the UFA we can contribute to the future of Uzbek sports.
