A year after launching operations, the Uzum Tezkor express delivery service has a coverage area encompassing seven cities, has signed up over 1,200 partners and has been named “Brand of the Year” among delivery services and the most popular service in Tashkent.
Over the past year, Uzum Tezkor has become one of the leaders in terms of brand recognition among users in the capital. We conducted a survey in Tashkent among 400 users of food delivery services aged 18–55 (the sample of 18—25-year-olds accounted for 50% of the respondents surveyed) who place an order at least once a month. And according to the results, 9 out of 10 respondents know the brand, and 47% of them had placed an order through Uzum Tezkor within the previous month. Survey participants also believe that Uzum Tezkor understands the traditions and habits of Uzbeks better than others.
In voting among the general public, some 7,000 Uzbeks voted for Uzum Tezkor as “Brand of the Year.” The service was the leading vote getter in the Delivery Service and Other Brands categories. Among the important advantages offered by the service, users noted the speed of delivery, the polite behavior of delivery workers and support staff, as well as the breadth of the product range: over 20,000 SKUs in food, beverage and other categories are currently available for order through Uzum Tezkor.
One of the key reasons that our service is so popular is that we are a home-grown tech-based company. On the one hand, as a local service that is part of the national digital ecosystem, we take Uzbekistan’s traditions, habits and cultural features into account in our app and in our communications. On the other hand, we use the latest technologies in our development, data analysis and automation of our operational processes. As a result, Uzum Tezkor has become part of the daily life of a huge number of Uzbeks. Our delivery workers make deliveries to homes, offices and universities, and together with our partners we have created thousands of jobs. The main thing, however, is that we were able to win the trust of Uzbeks and make it much easier and more pleasant for them to do the things they have to do every day.
Uzum Tezkor began operating on May 15, 2023. At that time, several hundred dishes from cafes and restaurants in Tashkent were available through the app. In the space of one year, the service has increased its number of partners
