The express delivery service from restaurants and stores is now available in Shakhrisabz, Nurafshan, Gulistan, Termez, and Khiva. With this, Uzum Tezkor now operates in 25 cities, making its delivery network one of the most extensive in Uzbekistan.

Uzum Bank has been named the winner of the prestigious Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2025 in the category of Uzbekistan’s Best Digital Bank. The bank was recognized for its impressive growth, seamless integration of fintech solutions into its ecosystem, and for making modern financial services widely accessible.

Uzum became the first technology investment by Tencent, the Chinese IT giant, in a company from Uzbekistan. Following the fundraising round, Uzum’s valuation reached approximately $1.5 billion.

The list features early- and mid-stage startups driving the evolution of fintech and is based on a range of quantitative and qualitative factors, including deal activity, industry partnerships, investor strength, hiring momentum, and CB Insights’ proprietary datasets.

The lead investor in the Series A round was global venture fund FinSight Ventures (which has invested in Intercom, ThoughtSpot, Automation Anywhere, Toss, GupShup, Razorpay, Bumble, Rappi, Carta and others). Xanara Investment Management, an India-based firm focused on the Gulf region, joined the round as a follow-on investor. Over $50 million was raised in equity, with an additional $50 million previously secured through debt financing.

In Navoi, Uzum Tezkor became the first major food delivery service.

Construction of the country’s largest logistics complex for e-commerce commenced.

The ecosystem was founded in 2022 by entrepreneur Djasur Djumaev and Uzbek partners.

The digital bank Apelsin rebranded and became an integral part of the ecosystem.

Uzum Nasiya (formerly Paymart) also joined the ecosystem.
